Desktop Signal Processor is a high-speed, multipurpose computer providing25-450 MFLOPS of computing power while using only a single SPARCstationSBus slot. Along with up to 18 of the AT&T DSP32C digital signalprocessors, systems are available with 8-, 12-, or 16-bit ADC/DACdaughter cards, four 32-bit digital ports, four serial ports, and fourRS-232 ports. A fully configured system can sustain data rates of up to1600 MB per second on their proprietary DspIB 1.25 Gbps bus.The small, desktop enclosure contains five slots allowing 16 differentconfigurations using a combination of three processing boards. Expansionis available at any time.Software includes the AT&T C compiler for easy coding or porting ofexisting code. Also included is an assembler; linker; librarian; andlibraries of math, matrix, filter, and FFT functions that reducedevelopment time.
